Best Drop Spots for Urzikstan in Warzone Season 1

If you want to stop randomly picking where to land in Urzikstan, then check out our guide for the best landing spots.

Your first decision in any match of Call of Duty: Warzone is choosing where to land. Usually, you will open your Tac-Map and mark a location in Urzikstan for your teammates so they know where to land. Or, you simply follow wherever your teammates have marked and drop whenever you’re close to that location. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this landing strategy, you can pick your drop spots a little more carefully in Warzone.

There are a few different factors to consider when choosing a landing spot in Urzikstan. You have to consider how hotly contested the spot will be, where certain contracts and stations are, and how close the location is to other hot spots around the map. There’s also the matter of loot to consider, as a location is only as strong as the loot it provides.

Below, you can see our list of the best drop spots in Season 1 of Warzone, which takes into account all playstyles and the various factors we just mentioned.

Zaravan City

Zaravan City is the new Downtown in Urzikstan. It’s modeled similarly after the famed POI from Verdansk, featuring towering skyscrapers, tons of loot, and plenty of teams at the start of a match. It’s centrally located as well, so you don’t usually have to go far to beat the gas in the first couple of zones. Of course, this also means several teams will almost always populate the location, making it one of the more dangerous drops in Warzone.

However, with high risk comes high rewards, and the loot potential in Zaravan City might be worth it to you. This goes double for any players who enjoy being aggressive and chasing down their prey. If all of that wasn’t enough, Loadout Drops will often fall in Zaravan City at the start of a match, meaning you can be kitted out with the best weapons within minutes of dropping.

Seaport District

Seaport District might not look like much from the outside, but it’s one of the better drop spots for players looking for action and loot, but not an overwhelming number of enemies. There are usually a couple of enemy teams who drop at the multi-storied apartments in Seaport thanks to their abundance of easy and protected loot. While these enemies can be difficult to find, Seaport offers multiple rooftops so you can gain a vantage point on the entire area.

If you drop and survive at Seaport, you should at the very least have a decent amount of loot, perhaps a kill or two, and likely be near a Loadout Drop. There are also a few contracts and a Buy Station nearby to get you to the next phase of a Warzone match.

Orlov Military Base

If you’re looking for a safe drop, there are perhaps none that you should consider over Orlov Military Base. Located at the very northeast edge of Urzikstan, this particular POI is often left untouched throughout the course of a match. Of course, if the plane flies over the location, then teams will usually drop there. However, the plane’s path often makes it difficult to land at Orlov Military Base, making it a perfect drop spot for those looking for a safe start to their match.

It’s also worth noting that Orlov Military Base has four separate Hidden Cache locations, which can see laid out in a tweet from the WarzoneTacMap account on X. These Hidden Caches hold a plethora of loot and cash, which can then enable you to use the nearby Buy Station and get your loadout right at the start of a match. From there, you can rotate to wherever the first zone is located.

Levin Resort

Our final drop spot is another safe POI, but without the plethora of Hidden Caches like the ones at Orlov Military Base. Levin Resort is located at the northwestern edge of Urzikstan and rarely sees much action at the start of a match, but sometimes does see a few teams drop there depending on the plane’s path. While there’s not much in the way of loot at Levin Resort, there are usually several contracts nearby that can jumpstart the opening minutes of a match for your team.

You can use the rewards from these contracts to earn enough cash for a Loadout Drop, UAV, Self-Revive, etc. or chase down a free Loadout Drop nearby and get into some action with enemy teams. Levin Resort is not often in the zone, however, so you will have to do some rotating if you land here.

And that does it for our list of the best drop spots for Urzikstan in Season 1 of Warzone. As the map continues to get updated in future seasons, some POIs might be better to land at than others. If this happens, we’ll continue to keep you posted on the best drop spots. In the meantime, you can check out our previous guide on the best perks to run in Warzone so you can use your loadouts to their fullest extent.
